Life and Light - An extended metaphor
Life is like
a light that can shine ever so bright.
The gleam,
the glitter, the glow have the power to pierce the night.
For the
light to be effective, its beams must protrude,
But what
happens when the source is tapped and no power from it exudes?
Life and
lights need a source; A cord, a
switch and a bulb to really make them shine.
Of all the
elements needed to make it do its job,
The switch is
very crucial as it needs to be turned on.
